As many of you know, we need to have a meeting for CorruptedMC to discuss rules and the future of the server.

Originally the meeting was planned that anybody who could, would meet up at a restaurant of some type around the area and we can talk and dine about the server.  Although we might still have that, I also want to have an event where all of you can possibly join the chat while we have our audio/video chat, much like the SOPA discussion.

As far as time and date, that will be announced soon enough. So, if you have a date you would like to have the meeting, please comment below.

More than likely, the meeting will need to be held on Saturday or Sunday, and some time between noon and midnight EST (-5 GMT).
I’ll be sure to post equivalent time for all the folks that don’t live in the EST-zone .

Edit for some hopeful clarification: It will be an Admin meeting, similar to Skype, but anybody can join and doesn’t require Skype. I think we used tinychat last time.  I (or whoever wants to moderate discussion) will make sure only a couple people are sharing video at a time. Anybody can use the chat though.

I am changing the Orebfuscator settings, to see if the one obfuscating engine is better than the other. So instead of generating ores and you guys get short bursts of excitement/disappointment, it will just replace regular ores with clean stone, until you get close to them and mine them.

Wow… I just finished adding all the Paypal donations to the server’s bill.
You guys are all so wonderful, and thank you for supporting the server.

There are 3 names that I can’t link to the player, so if you know them, please tell me their IGN. Once I get their name, I will be removing the name column, for privacy reasons.

I will be adding all PO Box donations later.

Congratulations guys, over the course of the server’s life, we have received over $1000 dollars in donations.

I think I got all of them from before, but I may have missed some.
All cash donations do not have a comment on them.

Well, the server is back up.

I apologize, again, for any withdrawal symptoms you may have experienced as a result of not being able to login.

I will update this post when I find out the cause of the downtime. It appears it was something on the host’s end, not sure what exactly.

If you experience anything differently than normal, please comment below so I can address it.

The only thing that you guys should see different is the unique visitor counter has been reset… but I still have all the save files of players that logged in, so I know how many unique players visited the server.

The server is down.  GoNetworks has already been notified of the issue and are aware of the situation.

Not sure how long down time will be, so I apologize if it is for a while.

With that, what factions want to participate in it?

EDIT: THIS IS OP-IN TYPE OF THING, NOBODY WILL HAVE A WARP STATION, unless they want it.

New people will be able to visit your faction easily to see what it is like. The only bad thing is, it makes it easier for non-peaceful factions to be attacked.

The warp station will go to all server builds too, when they are finished.

Comment on here to recommend your faction.

Warp stations will be the size of one chunk, so plan accordingly.

There is going to be an Admin Meeting tonight at 9PM EST.

Why do I bring this up? Incase you want something to be changed or reviewed about the server.

We are normally busy, so make sure your voice is heard when it comes to this meeting, for it could be the last one for a while.

Since we have been having technical difficulties with the email verification on the site, feel free to re-register on the site with a new name OR send me an email at magicpat2010@gmail.com and tell me the email account you used to register, and I will delete that account so you can re-register with the same name.

With the new register page, you can now type in your desired password and fulfill another CAPTCHA question.  The main reason behind that is so we don’t get spam bots.  I will probably get rid of two of them and just leave the reCAPTCHA, unless we start to get spam bots.
